Finn is a seventeen year old young man who loves nothing more than adventures. He's the adoptive brother of and best friend of Jake the shapeshifting dog, and good friends with BMO, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline. As an adventurous young man, Finn is the brave, compassionate and heroic champion of not only the Candy Kingdom but the entire Land of Ooo.

In Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion, Finn awakens from a night of stargazing to discover the Land of Ooo has become flooded. He and Jake must sail around to various parts of Ooo to learn why the land has become flooded, defeating numerous enemies and solving many quests. Along the way, they recruit Marceline and BMO, and even travel with Princess Bubblegum for a short time.

Basic Attack

Finn's basic attack is a simple cutlass (his usual swords are not present for this piratical-themed adventure). This weapon does basic damage that can be increased by increasing the value of the Attack skill. His special attacks are all based on special elemental swords that Finn finds or is given during the course of the game: The Ice Sword, the Night Sword and the Sword of Lightenousness.

Special Attacks

• Ice Sword (Received after completing the quest Speak to the Ice King.)
  • Level 1 - Frosty Cut - Deal ice damage to an enemy (Chance to Freeze an enemy!) (Cost = 3 )
  • Level 3 - Ice Slammacow - Deal big ice damage to an enemy (Chance to Freeze an enemy!) (Cost = 6 )
  • Level 5 - Frozen Storm - Deal big ice damage to two enemies (Chance to Freeze an enemy!) (Cost = 8 )

• Night Sword (Received from finding a page of the Enchiridion in a chest on Mushroom Island)
  • Level 1 - Moon Womp - Deal jinx damage to an enemy (Chance to make an enemy Sleepy!) (Cost = 4 )
  • Level 3 - Smash of Dark Darkness - Deal big jinx damage to an enemy (Chance to make an enemy Sleepy!) (Cost = 7 )
  • Level 6 - Sandman Storm - Deal big jinx damage to two enemies (Chance to make an enemy Sleepy!) (Cost = 9 )

• Sword of Lightenousness (Received from finding a page of the Enchiridion in the Belly of the Beast in the Evil Forest)
  • Golden Chop - Deal righteousness damage to an enemy (Cost = 5 )
  • Sunset Swipe - Deal big righteousness damage to an enemy (Cost = 8 )
  • Supernova Slice - Deal big righteousness damage to two enemies (Cost = 10 )

Ultimate Attack

Gauntlet of the Hero Billy - "Fill Finn's Ultimate Bar by whomping enemies! When the meter is full you'll be able to unlease the incredible power of the Gauntlet!"
Finn must attack enemies in order to fill the ultimate bar. The Gauntlet can only target a single enemy but it will cause massive amounts of damage to that target.

Defense

Finn has a basic block that can be increased in effectiveness by increasing the block skill. Successfully blocking an attack will reduce the damage taken, and at higher levels, can even reduce the amount to zero. Additionally, Finn's passive dodge skill can help him avoid damage entirely by dodging out of the way of incoming enemy attacks.

Non-Combat abilities

Outside of combat Finn is still mostly used for breaking things, pushing them around, etc. But one special ability only he has is the ability to add new points of interest onto the map when he uses the pirate lookouts.
