Gumbald (Punch Bowl) is an Adventure Time villain and a boss in Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion. He was created by Princess Bubblegum for Neddy Bubblegum and her to serve as their "great uncle". In the game he is a Level 10 character with 10000 HP.
In the game[edit | edit source]
It turns out, Gumbald had the Ice King's crown for a while in his possession and then "nicely" returned it to the Ice King, just before the melt down disaster happened. In a conversation with the Ice King, he mentions Gumbald, who not only returned the crown, but who also carried a big book. Shortly after this dialogue ends, Gumbald appears in the Ice Kingdom, carrying the Enchiridion, together with Fern and two gum people.
Like a true villain, Gumbald soon reveals their intention - which was to make Princess Bubblegum step down as a ruler, as everybody would think, this was the result of one of her failed experiements. Gumbald would then be able to take her place on the throne of Candy Kingdom.
After this plan now has failed, he wants to flood Ooo permanently with the help of the Enchiridion. The party of Finn and Jake of course wants to prevent this, and only the Ice King chickens out and leaves.
Fern will then leave, too, and run after the Ice King, while Gumbald will battle the party of Finn and Jake.
Gumbald gets arrested, but because Fern is still on the loose, he's freed from the Candy Kingdom's dungeons in the end of the game's story.
